Xavi Hernandez still doesn’t know if he will be able to recover some of the injured players for the ‘Clasico’ agains Real Madrid. None of them made an appearance in training on Monday.
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has not been able to count on any of the injured players in the post-match recovery training after the match against Athletic Club, so it is not known if he will be able to recover any of them this week. The ‘blaugranas’ have two games, one in the Champions League this Wednesday against Shakhtar Donetsk and the other this Saturday against Real Madrid in one of the great classics of world football.
Barcelona have six players in their infirmary, but Xavi Hernandez has already ruled out Sergi Roberto and Jules Kounde for the next two games.
So all eyes are on the possibility of bringing back Pedri Gonzalez, Raphael Dias ‘Raphinha’, Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong for the European game or the game against Real Madrid on Saturday.
However, none of them appeared on the pitch at the Joan Gamper sports complex on Monday, although it is expected that one of the latter 4 will be included in the squad for the game against Shakhtar.
